The coloring of the express in the column

Excuse, but please consider it again.

• This dark cyan is used in the graph about the stop station by each type of fasters in trains, in fact, like the image in Japanese version (in the official, in Japanese Wiki).
• It' used similar coloring already in Keiō Line, Odakyū Odawara Line, and others. It's useful that Toei serves this express service in the whole of line, not partly (like the Airport Express in its Asakusa Line).

Thanks to your answer, Mr./Ms. Maxima m. Here is English Wikipedia, and it should be discussed in English for other members. Simply I wonder that, you painted several colors into the station list of Keio Line, and remove it at this page. Why was it "necessary" thing? It's useful information the express trains run through Toei Shinjuku and Keio (Main and Sagamihara) Lines, as same category. Already I show you, the official route map also use this coloring. I removed the coloured column from the table, as it added nothing and dominated the entire table. Coloring is used for the Keiō Line article to distinguish between a number of different service patterns. Here, there is only one. The Odakyū Odawara Line does not use colouring in its table, by the way. --DAJF (talk) 23:05, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, DAJF. After my first comment, Maxima m., the person added colors in column, deleted by himself at Odakyu Odawara Line. But I think, it's too simple for users now. And, you are not right, the coloring has some means, the service is on whole sections, and continued from Keio Lines, already I've written. And, I have to ask you, why you ignore the real fact, the official train map Toei (Bureau of Transpotation of Tokyo Metropolitan government, red) [1] and Keio Electric (dark cyan, see above) use coloring to show its express trains. Yes, once I coloured in several articles of Japanese private railway lines to ditinguish rapid services, probably of Keio, Odakyu, Seibu and Hankyu. But I changed my mind after browsing other ENWP articles. The reason is the same as DAJF wrote above. And, the appearances of station tables with rapid service stops, definitely imported from JAWP, are so awful. (I do admit they appear not bad in Japanese, but so ugly in Roman letters). Thus I am removing colours which I once added. So Keio Line table will be de-coloured if I edit again. It might be confusing if someone see my contributions, but newer edit is closer to my current opinion.

ENWP has its own guideline, manners and agreement. Using colours in other site, even it is official for an article is another manner, not of ENWP. By the way, "colouring be restricted", or more modest, "not encouraged" is declared in JAWP (section 過剰なマークアップは控える in ja:Wikipedia:ウィキプロジェクト 鉄道) --Maxima m (talk) 10:34, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
